Do I need an Apple Watch?
You need sleep that's already recorded in Apple Health — by an Apple Watch or any compatible sleep tracker. Bedhead reads that data; it doesn't measure sleep itself. Without recorded sleep, there's nothing for it to show.
Why is there no sleep score?
On purpose. A score compresses a whole night into one number that hides more than it reveals, and invites you to chase the number instead of resting. Bedhead shows you what actually happened — duration, stages, how you compare to your own average — and trusts you with it.
What's free, and what's premium?
Free: last night against your average, and tonight's bed-by time. Premium (the Trends tab) adds the longer view — how your bedtime is drifting over weeks, and your sleep debt over time.
How does the bed-by time work?
You set your wake time and a sleep target in Settings. Bedhead works backward to the time you'd need to be asleep tonight to hit that target — and, if you like, nudges you thirty minutes before.
How do I turn the reminder off (or on)?
Settings → Wind-down reminder. It's off until you turn it on, and you can switch it off any time.
Where is my data stored?
On your device and in your own private iCloud, under your Apple ID. There's no Bedhead account and no Bedhead server — we never receive your sleep data. See the privacy page for detail.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Delete Sleep History removes Bedhead's stored history from your device and iCloud. Your Apple Health data is untouched, and the last 30 days may repopulate from Health on the next refresh.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Settings → Restore Purchases. Premium follows your Apple ID, so it should also appear automatically once you're signed in to iCloud.
